About Yoga with Christy Prior
Hello, my name is Christy Prior. I am Olympic pro snowboarder and a YTT500hr qualified yoga teacher.
Throughout my professional snowboarding career I have sought out ways to counteract the high demands and pressures that come with [life and] being a professional athlete; I give back to my physical body through yoga and soothe my mind through rest and relaxation practices.
I specialise in teaching vinyasa, yin, yin-yang, and meditation classes (both in person and online).
I run 6 / 12 / 18 week group block yoga and meditation courses in Dunedin throughout the year to help students build consistency, develop the correct alignment, and make proper progress in their practice in a safe and supportive environment.
I also offer private in person yoga sessions - these are one-on-one or private group bookings.
Yoga [and mediation] have had a huge impact on both my physical and mental performance both in my personal and professional life. My practice continues to help me to be the best athlete and the best version of myself that I can be and I am passionate about helping others develop these tools also.
Tuesday: 8am - 8.30pm
Wednesday: 8am - 4pm
Thursday: 8am - 8.30pm
Friday: 6am - 12pm
